Insulation locks in your heat, so you won't need to have your heating on as much to stay warm. It's not a one off saving either; it helps you save money year after year.
It's straightforward and takes less than a day. Loft insulation is a thick quilt material simply rolled onto the floor area of the roof space. There's little fuss or mess so you can get on with your daily routine.

Loft insulation is the most cost effective energy efficiency measure to reduce your heating bills.
Current UK building regulations require 250mm (10 inches) of insulation in the loft. It's worth improving the thickness of your insulation of the loft if you have 100mm (4 inches) or less, otherwise you are simply letting money go through the roof.
Extra insulation will make the house warmer but the loft itself will be colder, so as part of a standard install the pipes and tanks are also insulated to provide adequate protection against freezing.
The insulation is laid in 2 layers to bring it up to 10 inches. The first layer is laid between the joist and the second across the joist. This prevents cold bridging along the joists and gives the maximum insulation value. You will be given an option to have a boarded walkway fitted for safe access to service any tanks in the loft.
The benefitsHeat rises, and in an un-insulated home that means a quarter of the warmth is lost straight away, through the roof. Laying a blanket of specialised insulation material in the loft or attic creates a barrier that reduces this heat loss. It's a simple and effective way to feel warmer at home and save on your heating bills.
Our high quality insulation materials offer the latest in product advances, fitted by skilled installation teams. This means that you use less energy to keep your home warm, helping you save money on your bills.
Once completed our team will clear and remove all tools, waste and packaging, leaving you to enjoy the benefits of insulation.
